TOUCH A TRUCK event !!

Event date: Sunday 9-22-2024 (not the date in July newsletter, sorry for any confusion.)

The Chamberlin Park Board is going to host a Touch-a-Truck event for children and people of all ages and will also be inviting food trucks. An event to get up close and see firetrucks, semi truck, ambulance, police cars, etc.

1 pm - 4 pm, in Chamberlin Park.

Holiday Tree Lighting ceremony Nov 2023

6:00 pm - 8 pm

On Saturday, Nov 25, 2023, the Mayor & the Park Board will host their annual Christmas tree lighting event by the upper shelter in Chamberlin Park. Santa will be there (photo ops ! ) Tree light up scheduled for 7 pm.

US Marine Corp Reserves Toys for Tots Program to be at the event, as a drop site for collecting new, unwrapped toys.

After dark then you walk thru a darkened Haunted Trail.

Easter Egg Hunt 2022

The Deer Park Park Board's annual Easter Egg Hunt will be Sat April 9th, 2022 at 11 am in Chamberlin Park. For ages 10 and under.

2021:

The Park Board's annual Christmas tree lighting will be held Sat Nov 27 2021, at 7 pm.

This is a virtual event, with livestreaming on the Park Board's Facebook page (FB: Chamberlin Park). One person or family from the community will be chosen to be there to 'flip the switch' & light up the tree.

The Deer Park Park Board will once again be hosting their Annual October BooFest !!

6 pm - 10 pm, Sunday Oct 2, 2021, in Chamberlin Park. Lower Shelter area.

Food, games and haunted trail. Costume parade at 7 pm.
