David W. Wood was sworn in at the Deer Park City Council meeting on October 22^nd 2007.  

Officer Wood passed all phases of the police officer selection process and officially started with the department on the 22^nd.  

Officer Wood worked in the security field and with the Bethel Police Department prior to his employment with Deer Park.   

Officer Wood will be a great addition to the Deer Park Police Department.
