Matson Ave. & Gail Dr. Water Main Installation Project

Construction on the Greater Cincinnati Water Works water main installation project for Matson Avenue and Gail Drive is scheduled to begin September 10, 2007.  Contracts have been awarded to Rack and Ballauer Excavating, Inc for water main installation and Adleta Construction for street and sidewalk restoration.

Rack and Ballauer will begin working on the water main portion of the project on September 10th, and depending on weather, this work should be complete by mid December.  Adleta Construction will begin the restoration work in March, 2008 and the entire project is expected to be completed by July 1st, 2008, again depending on favorable weather.

During construction, there may be times that traffic will need to be detoured around the construction area.  We hope to keep any inconveniences to a minimum but this may be necessary to insure the safety of construction workers, allow for efficient travel through the construction zone and to keep work on schedule.  You will also see some construction materials stored on side streets in the immediate area.   

With the completion of this project, all road construction in this area will finally be finished and no additional work here is planned in the foreseeable future.
