The City of Deer
Park has promoted Ofc. Robert L. Miller to the rank of
Lieutenant within the police department.
Lt. Miller, 38, is
a veteran of the Army and previously served as a corrections
officer with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office. |

Rob joined the
Deer Park Police Department in 1994. He has served primarily on
the Night Shift, as well as acting as the Department’s liaison
to the Hamilton County OVI Task Force. His record in OVI
(Operating a Vehicle while Intoxicated) enforcement and
prosecution has lead him to be recognized by Mothers Against
Drunk Driving. Because of his traffic safety efforts the City
was awarded a radar unit, at no cost, by the State of Ohio.
Lt. Miller is also
a qualified evidence technician, Property Room manager, and
member of the Bike Patrol. He has many commendations for his
service and is the only two time winner of the department’s
annual TopGun Competition. Former Chief Alvin Gille recognized
Lt. Miller for consistent excellence in appearance, attention to
detail, and held him up as an example for other officers to
follow. Congratulations Rob. |
