LEAF PICK UP INFORMATION FOR DEER PARK RESIDENTS

The City of Deer Park’s annual leaf collection with the vacuum machine will begin the week of October 15, 2007, and end in mid-December of 2007. Due to changing weather conditions and other factors, it is difficult to establish an exact schedule for the pick-up, but collections will be approximately two weeks apart. Leaves to be collected by the leaf machine must be placed between the sidewalk and the curb. Please do NOT pile leaves in the gutters or ditches because they will obstruct drainage and clog sewers. Only leaves can be picked up by this machine. Tree branches, trimmings, flower cuttings, etc., should not be piled with leaves. Residents are reminded that the burning of leaves is prohibited. |
