COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING COMMITTEE RECOGNIZED BY COUNCIL

Council approved Deer Park’s first ever comprehensive plan in December.

With this comprehensive planning document, the city will better be able to develop and showcase its convenient location to major connectors such as Montgomery Road, Interstate 71 and Ronald Reagan Highway, its urban amenities and small town neighborhood character.

Putting this thorough plan together took immense work and it wouldn’t have been possible without the help of a dedicated group of volunteers from the residential and business community.

Council recognized these volunteers recently during a ceremony where they each received a citizen’s award.
