Mike and Renee' Allen have been residents of Deer Park since August of 1987. They are the legal guardian of Shane McGowman. Shane is a junior at Deer Park High School where he plays on the football team.

Mike is retired law enforcement officer with 40 years of experience.  The last 34 years were with the Blue Ash Police Department where he was Chief for almost 10 years. He is running for his 2nd full term this fall as council-at-large.

Mike is chairman of the Safety Committee and is council's representative to the Deer Park Silverton Fire District. He continues to be involved in the Hamilton County Police Chief's association, with Safety Director, Mike Berens, as a member of the Life Member Committee. Mike is a member of Trinity Community Church.
