John, an active member of our community, is serving his sixth term as Auditor and was the former Tax Commissioner and Clerk of Council of Deer Park.

A graduate of the University of Cincinnati and former Accounting Officer for Provident Bank, he is now an insurance broker with The Ries Insurance Agency in Blue Ash.

John is a Past President of the Cincinnati Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, Past President of the Blue Ash/Montgomery Rotary Club and currently serves as Treasurer (Selected as Rotarian of the Year in 1998-1999 and 2002-2003).  He is Past Master of Evanston Masonic Lodge, Past President of the Deer Park Soccer League, Past President of the Deer Park Republican Club, Treasurer of the Deer Park Festival for the past 25 years and a member of the Deer Park Historical Society.  John is currently President-elect of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors – Cincinnati Chapter, Treasurer of Rotary International District 6670 and is a past President and current Treasurer of the Northeast Hamilton County Republican Club.

John is a thirty-three year resident of Deer Park and lives, with his wife, Karen, on Lansdowne Avenue.  They have four grown daughters and ten grandchildren.
