Hermann has been a resident of Deer Park since 1970. He came to Cincinnati, Ohio in June 1959 from war torn Germany has been self-employed ever since. He has been married to his wife Maryhelen for over 44 years. They have 3 daughters and are the proud grandparents of 6 grandchildren.
For over 20 years, he was an independent long-distance truck driver and traveled across the United States. The in 1981, he and his wife became the owners of the Deer Park Inn. Hermann and Maryhelen have operated the business successfully and are well known to the community.
Hermann has been both state and national president of the Buckeye Tavern Association, and continues to be very active with the association today. He is also treasurer of the local sports club, Fins, Furs, & Feathers, and he sponsors several softball teams, and was his youngest daughter’s soccer coach.
Hermann and his wife are members of St Johns parish, and they are involved in parish activities.
