Chris Hedger, your current Ward 4 Representative, is a lifelong resident of the area and a 12 year resident of Deer Park.  Chris sits on both the Safety Committee and the Legislative and Finance Committee and has served on the Public Works Committee as well as the committee negotiating the labor contract with the Service Department and the City Clerks.  Chris has organized Student Government night for the past two years which partners a Deer Park High School Student with each member of City Council and gives the students a chance to learn and experience the responsibilities of our Elected Officials.

Chris earned a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Cincinnati and is currently working as a Part-Time Police Clerk for the Springdale Police Department.

Chris, her husband Ray and their two sons, Jake and John are members of St. John parish and can be found coaching Little League Baseball and volunteering for St. Johns and the City of Deer Park.
