David L. Battin Jr. was sworn in at the Deer Park City Council meeting on September 24^th.

Officer Battin passed all phases of the police officer selection process and will officially start with the department on October 1, 2007.

Officer Battin worked in the security field and with the Georgetown Police Department prior to his employment with Deer Park. 

Officer Battin will be a great addition to the Deer Park Police Department.
